Hello Actor,
Three seconds. That’s how long your headshot has got to catch the eye of a casting director.
If they’re not convinced that you’re right for the role within three seconds, the game’s up. On to the next one.
They’re busy. They want to be able to say ‘Yep. That’s the one!’ in the least time possible.
Which means your headshot has got to do the business.
Headshots are the first - and sometimes the only - thing a casting director uses when choosing an actor for a role.
Likewise with your showreel. It’s not just a generic piece of marketing that says ‘Hey, look what I’ve done.’
It must be tailored to the type of role you’re looking for. To show the personality, emotions and range of skills the role needs. It needs to convince the casting director that you can play not just any part, but the part they’re casting for.
Yes, it’s safe to say that powerful headshots and showreels are crucial to your acting success. If you don’t have them, or if you have them, but they’re not done properly, you’ll find good acting jobs extremely hard to come by.
Whether casting directors are searching Spotlight profiles or sifting through a list of submissions from an agent, they simply won’t consider you if your headshot and showreel aren’t on the money.
And traditionally, this would be a big barrier to success for emerging actors.
Why?
Because of the costs involved. Keeping your marketing package up to date with effective material used to involve thousands of pounds per year.
But not any more…

But not any more…
The MZA Masterclass provides you with these tools that are so essential in getting auditions at a fraction of the usual cost.
It removes a huge barrier to getting more auditions because you get highly-effective headshots and showreel material without breaking the bank. If you were to get your headshots, showreel and other resources (more on those further down) separately, from external studios, you’d be forking out over a thousand pounds. But you can secure your place on our next Masterclass and get all of it for just £99. There are only twelve spots available in each one, so book now to avoid missing out. |

Why the Masterclass is a no-brainer for an ambitious actor like you…
Your headshots and showreel are not something you can just put out there willy-nilly.
Notice how I haven’t said your material needs to be ‘high-quality’. There’s a reason for that…
Of course, your headshots and showreel need to be high-quality - to look sharp and professional. That’s just a given. But that isn’t enough.
Your marketing materials need to be effective.
They’re not just there to look nice. They need to do the job of landing you more auditions. That means demonstrating the features, personality and skills that your target roles demand.
And the best way to ensure that is to get expert help. That’s what the Masterclass provides.
Because when you shoot your headshots and showreel scene at the Masterclass, you’ll do so under my direction, with my guidance.
After over two decades coaching actors, I know how to help you identify the unique acting qualities you offer, and which types of roles you could be targeting.
I know how to ensure these qualities are on show in your marketing materials so they do a better job of selling you to casting directors.
And I know how to help you overcome any mental barriers and stay fully in the moment, bringing maximum energy and engagement.
By the time we’re finished with the Masterclass, you’ll have the tools you need to get auditions for the type of roles you want.
Grab your spot today for just £99 (only 12 available).

What else do you gain from the Masterclass?
⭐One-to-One coaching
The time we spend shooting your showreel and headshots is practically a one-to-one coaching session. You’ll get my undivided attention and high-level training in my Trinity Acting Method. You’ll improve your understanding of how to shape a character with small details.
While our regular classes are great, you simply can’t beat a bit of one-on-one coaching. And the things you pick up during the Masterclass, you’ll be able to take forward into your regular classes and strengthen your performances there.
⭐Q&A session
Success in acting depends on so much more than acting ability. Mindset, marketing, industry-knowledge, the ‘business’ side of it, and more…
And in the Masterclass, you get the chance to ask me anything about your acting career. Believe me, after thirty-odd years in the industry, I’ve seen it all. Whatever it is you’re unsure, confused or worried about, you can get the answers at the Masterclass.
Common questions include:
How can I gain more roles?
How can I get seen?
How do I improve my acting?
How do I gain confidence in auditions?
How do I create the perfect selftape?
⭐Mindset-building
The acting industry isn’t as brutal as people would have you believe. But it’s still tough at times.
Rejection. Ghosting. Criticism. Frustration. Self-doubt. Haters. Impostor syndrome... If you want to make your mark in any walk of life, these are things you’ve got to face. Acting’s no different.
You need a thick skin. Simple as. I’ll help you grow a few layers in the Masterclass.
⭐Networking
Connecting with like-minded people is extremely powerful. You never know how you may be able to help each other out in future.
At the Masterclass, you’ll mix it up with eleven other actors who are as dedicated, ambitious and downright bloody brilliant as you.
Who knows how big an impact these connections can have on your career? Whether it’s helping each other with self-tapes, recommending each other for roles, sharing hard-earned wisdom, or even something as simple as showing you you’re not alone on your acting path, surrounding yourself with people who elevate you is one of the keys to success.
So, what are you waiting for?
I like to keep the Masterclasses small so you get plenty of time in action. But with only 12 places available in each one, it means they tend to fill up fast. So don’t deliberate too long before securing your place.

FAQs
How do I prepare for the Masterclass?
I’ll send you the script a few days before. Learn it as well as possible so you can focus completely on your performance during your showreel scene.
Also, bring a couple of outfit changes, reflecting the type of roles you want. Don’t overdo the wardrobe, hair and makeup - keep it neutral and understated as casting directors want to see the real you.
Other than that, all you need is bags of energy and enthusiasm as it’s an action-packed afternoon.
How often should I update my marketing materials?
New headshots at least once every six months is a good rule of thumb. But you’ll also need to update them if you make any big changes to your appearance, such as hairstyles or significant weight loss/gain. Headshots need to show casting directors what you look like right now.
Also, if you decide to target a certain type of role, your previous headshots and showreel material may not suit that, so it’s a good idea to update them so they align with your new focus.
Why is the Masterclass so cheap?
Three main reasons:
Is it possible to get the Masterclass even cheaper?
Believe it or not, yes it is.
If you’re set up as a sole trader, and acting business, as I recommend, then you can list the Masterclass as a tax-deductible expense. This means you’ll get some of your investment back in the taxes you save.
Also, if you’re on our Elite Mentoring programme (GOLD level or above), you get access to all MZA Masterclasses and webinars free of charge.
I’ll leave you with this - an insight into the Masterclass from Tors, a fabulous actor and all-round gem of a person who attended a previous Masterclass.

Why is the Masterclass so cheap?
Three main reasons:
- I’m a disruptor. That means I’m working to change the damaging and entrenched narrative that you need loads of money to make it in acting. I want to make it more accessible to a wider range of people.
- It’s a smart business decision for me. You see, I have a vested interest in more MZA members achieving success. Here’s how it works…
- I want to attract more people to MZA and grow the business.
- For that to happen, I need MZA’s reputation to keep growing.
- That will happen if more of our members get better roles more often.
- So I want to make it as easy and affordable as possible for members to get the tools they need to get more auditions.
- Therefore, making the Masterclass such a bargain makes sense. It’s simply a part of our growth strategy at MZA.
- I love doing it.
